Today I learned two things:
- What the phrase “Don’t deny me of the cross I bear” means and what type of case it applies to. For instance: You hurt your back playing basketball and your roommate tells you that the pain can’t be so bad that it stops you from playing. It is.
- Life has a funny way of denying you prematurely. On the one hand, it possibly saved me from embarrassment, but on the other, the situation kinda sucks and I was really hoping I went through with this; it’s been a while.
